We stand behind the work. Not the weather.
A guarantee that promises everything is worth nothing, so here is exactly where the line sits.
What we guarantee
- The work is done as specified. The passes, the depth, the coverage and the material named in your quote are what goes on your lawn.
- The material is what we said it was. Certified compost, and the 70/30 blend at 70/30 — not adjusted job to job to hit a number.
- Coverage is complete. If an area of treatable turf was missed, we come back and do it. No argument, no charge.
- Damage we cause, we fix. If the machine damages something on your property, that is ours to put right.
- The measurement is honest. You are billed on treatable turf with beds, drives and gravel excluded — measured, then confirmed on site.
What we cannot guarantee
These depend on things outside anyone’s control, and saying otherwise would be a lie.
- Germination on a lawn that is not watered. New seed needs consistent moisture through establishment. You get a written schedule; if it is not followed, the seed will not take, and that is the single most common cause of a disappointing result.
- Results in deep shade. If there is not enough light, no amount of seed, compost or aeration changes that. We will tell you before taking the job.
- A drought. An unusually hot, dry autumn affects establishment regardless of what went down.
- A fix for a grading or drainage fault. If water is being routed at your lawn, leveling the surface will not stop it. That is a different trade and we will say so.
- Speed. Soil work is a two-to-three season program. Anyone guaranteeing a transformed lawn this season is selling something else.
If something is wrong
Call Jay Cooper on (919) 495-5850 and he will come and look at it. Not a ticket, not a contact form that goes to a queue — the same person who did the work, standing on the lawn.
If the work was not done as specified, it gets put right. If the work was done correctly and the lawn still is not where you want it, you will get an honest explanation of why and what would actually change it — even when the answer is that the next step is not something we sell.
Soil amendment is a two-to-three season program, not a spray. Year one you will see the difference. Year three you will stop thinking about your lawn.
