Most lawn programs start with an application. This one starts with finding out what your soil actually needs, because two lawns three streets apart routinely need opposite things.

Test the soil
We measure the lawn from satellite imagery, then look at it in person and test what is actually under the grass — pH, organic matter, compaction. No treatment gets recommended before this.

Build the plan
You get a written plan naming exactly what is being done, what material is going down, what it costs, and what it will not fix. If the honest answer is that a different trade should handle it, that is what you get told.

Do the work, then check it
The work happens in the right seasonal window, not whenever there is a gap in the calendar. Afterwards we re-test and tell you whether the soil actually moved.
What to expect, honestly
Organic soil work is slower than a synthetic program. That is not a caveat buried in the small print — it is the actual trade-off, and you should know it before you spend anything.
A synthetic nitrogen application greens a lawn in about a week because it feeds the plant directly. Building soil organic matter feeds the soil instead. It takes longer, and it does not reverse the moment you stop.
Soil amendment is a two-to-three season program, not a spray. Year one you will see the difference. Year three you will stop thinking about your lawn.

Every quote starts with looking at the lawn properly rather than guessing from the kerb. Jay Cooper measures the treatable turf from satellite imagery first, then walks the property where it matters — particularly if there is drainage or heavy shade involved.
What you get in writing
- The measured treatable area, with beds, drives and gravel excluded
- Exactly which treatments, in which order, in which season
- What material is going down, named — including the compost source
- What it will not fix, in plain language
- A watering schedule, if there is seed involved
