Plain terms for work carried out by Simply Spread LLC.

Quotes

A quote is based on the treatable turf area as measured, the grass type and the condition of the soil at the time of assessment. Beds, drives, gravel and other non-turf areas are excluded from both the treatment and the measured area. If conditions on the day differ materially from what was assessed, we will tell you before starting rather than after.

Scheduling and weather

This work is weather-dependent. Ground that is frozen, waterlogged or too dry does not take treatment properly, and forcing it wastes your money. Where that happens the work is rescheduled, not carried out regardless.

Seasonal work is booked into the window it belongs in. We would rather book you for next fall than take payment for over-seeding at a time of year it is unlikely to establish.

Access and preparation

We need access to the treatable area on the agreed day, gates unlocked, and pets indoors. Irrigation heads, invisible fencing and any shallow utilities must be marked by you before we arrive — we work around what is marked, and cannot be responsible for what is not.

Your part in the result

Where seed is involved, establishment depends on watering that we do not control. You will be given a written schedule. A lawn that is not watered through the establishment period will not fill in, and that outcome is not covered by the guarantee.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on your quote. Prices quoted are valid for the season in which they are given.

Cancellation

Let us know as far ahead as you reasonably can, particularly in the fall window, when a cancelled slot is difficult to refill.

Liability

We carry insurance and we put right damage we cause. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, for damage arising from unmarked buried services, or for outcomes caused by conditions outside our control such as drought, disease pressure or watering not carried out.
