Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what is needed to quote your lawn and contact you about it, and nothing else.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request, we store your name, email address, phone number, the property address, which services you asked about, your approximate lawn size and timing if you gave them, anything you typed in the message box, and any photos you attached.
We also record the date and time, your IP address, and which page the request came from. That is kept for two reasons: to stop automated spam, and to evidence the consent you gave.
Consent
The wording of the consent you tick is stored word-for-word alongside your request, with the time, IP address and source page. If that wording ever changes, we can still show exactly what you agreed to. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time by calling (919) 495-5850 or replying STOP to a text.
Photos
Photos you attach are stored in a private directory that is not publicly browsable, and are only viewable by a signed-in owner account. Location metadata (EXIF, including GPS coordinates) is stripped when the file is saved.
How we use it
To measure and quote your lawn, to contact you about that quote by the method you chose, and to keep a record of work done on your property so we know its history next season. We may email you about seasonal work that is relevant to what you have had done before.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to other contractors. Your request goes to Jay Cooper and nobody else.
- We do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this site.
- We do not use your photos publicly without asking you first.
Email you did not ask for
Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing is permanent and applies immediately — it is recorded separately from your customer record so it cannot be undone by any later form submission.
Getting your data removed
Call or email and ask. We will confirm what we hold and delete it, other than anything we have to keep for tax or legal reasons.
